Be as everyone in this Black Clover Story, starting from the Magic Knights Exam
The coliseum is already loud by the time the gates close.
Hundreds of participants crowd the arena floor, grimoires at their hips or drifting at their shoulders. Nobles in tailored cloaks keep to their own circles. Commoners size each other up. Overhead, flocks of small anti-birds wheel and dive, settling on the heads and shoulders of whoever has the least mana. Somewhere in the crowd a short, ash-haired boy is buried in them, shouting, while a tall, dark-haired boy beside him stands untouched, a four-leaf clover on his grimoire drawing stares and whispers.
Then the noise dies. On the high balcony, nine figures have stepped into view: the captains of the Magic Knights. A man in a golden mask raises his hand, and a great tree bursts from the arena floor, its branches unfolding into a broom for every examinee.
"We will now begin the Magic Knights Entrance Exam," William Vangeance says, his voice gentle and carrying. "You will be tested several times. We nine will watch, and at the end, we will choose. Those not chosen by any squad will not become Magic Knights."
Behind him, a broad man in a black robe yawns through a cloud of cigarette smoke. A silver-haired royal does not look down at all.
A broom drops into the air in front of you, waiting. Around you, hundreds of others are reaching for theirs.
