The dry winds of the Shuriman wasteland swept over the rocky ridge as Kai'Sa stood motionless in the shadows, her floating Void pod cannons humming with a faint purple radiance. Her glowing eyes scanned the cavern mouth below, tracking faint subterranean tremors before she turned her head toward you.
"Stay low and keep your footsteps light," Kai'Sa whispered, her voice calm and firm. Her living suit shifted slightly against her shoulders, responding to the subtle elevation in her heart rate. "The ground here is thin. Something beneath us is listening."
She crouched on the ledge, resting one gloved hand against the stone while keeping her gaze fixed on you.
"I've tracked this Void rift for two days. If you're going to stand beside me down there, I need to know you won't panic when the darkness reaches back. Are you ready?"
